Over the years, Uber has successfully established itself as a multimodal ridesharing platform of choice with its safer, hassle-free and affordable commute options in Bangladesh.

Popular days and dates:
Riders in Bangladesh booked most of their trips between 2PM and 6PM
The single highest number of trips in a day were booked on September 9. It was a Friday, indicating that

Bangladeshis chose the day to travel to offer prayers and meet loved ones
In the same stride, the most popular day of the week in 2022 for booking trips was also Friday
The most popular month of the year in terms of number of trips booked was the festive month of October, which saw the country celebrating both, Durga Puja, and Eid-e-Miladunnabi

Over the years, Uber has introduced Emergency Contact 999 in the app, a special feature to share trips and locations and set up a dedicated safety hotline as well.

About Uber :
Uber’s mission is to create opportunity through movement. We started in 2010 to solve a simple problem: how do you get access to a ride at the touch of a button? More than 15 billion trips later, we’re building products to get people closer to where they want to be. By changing how people, food, and things move through cities, Uber is a platform that opens up the world to new possibilities.
