Prime Bank Hosts ‘Empowering Youth’ Seminar at BUTEX under PrimeAcademia

Prime Bank PLC, in collaboration with Bangladesh University of Textile (BUTEX) and its Career Club, organized a seminar titled “Financial Inclusion: Engaging & Inspiring Youth in Banking” under its flagship initiative PrimeAcademia.

Syed Sazzad Haider Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Information Officer of Prime Bank PLC. delivered the keynote, sharing insights on career development, critical decision-making, and the importance of industry-aligned skillsets. Shaila Abedin, Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Liability & Women Banking, highlighted ethical leadership, informed decision-making, and the evolving role of women in shaping a future-ready workforce. M M Mahbub Hasan, Senior Vice President & Head of Financial Inclusion & School Banking, emphasized financial literacy and money management as fundamental pillars for building responsible and empowered youth. He also presented Prime Bank’s key achievements and innovative initiatives over its 31-year journey.

Professor Dr. Md. Zulhash Uddin, Vice-Chancellor of BUTEX, attended the program as Chief Guest and underscored the importance of strengthening industry–academia collaboration. Professor Dr. Md. Mashiur Rahman, Director of Student’s Welfare, delivered the inaugural address.
