Staff Reporter, Dhaka : The closing and prize distribution ceremony of Inter-Base Football Competition-2025 of Bangladesh Air Force was held at Football ground of Bangladesh Air Force Base Bashar, Dhaka on Thursday (03-7-2025).
Bangladesh Air Force Base Bir Uttam A K Khandker team clinched the title by defeating Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque by 2-0 goal in the said competition. Flying Officer Abdullah of Air Force Base Bashar team was adjudged as the best player. Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Admin) Air Vice Marshal Rushad Din Asad, OSP, BPP, ndu, aowc, psc witnessed the final match as the Chief Guest and distributed prizes among the winners. Air Officer Commanding, Senior BAF officers, airmen and other members of the host Base were present on the occasion.
Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bashar Air Vice Marshal Khair-ul-Afsar, GUP, ndc, psc inaugurated the competition on 29 June 2025. Mentionable that, 07 teams of Bangladesh Air Force participated in this 5 day long competition.
