Staff Reporter, Dhaka : The Integrity Award (2022-2023) distribution ceremony among Officers, Airmen and Civilians of Bangladesh Air Force was held at Air Headquarters on 27 July 2023, Thursday. Respected Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan, BBP, BUP, nswc, fawc, psc attended the ceremony as Chief Guest and distributed the certificates among the recipients of Integrity Award.

In the fiscal year 2022-23, 13 Officers, 12 Airmen and 02 civilians were nominated for Integrity Award like previous year. After handing over the certificate, Chief of Air Staff delivered directive speech to the members of Air Force. In his speech, he mentioned that, the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was to build a hunger-free, poverty-free and corruption-free Sonar Bangla. In line with this, under the guidance of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the ‘National Integrity Strategy’ was formulated in 2012 with the aim of building `Sonar Bangla’. As a part of national integrity strategy various activities are underway to establish integrity in Bangladesh Air Force. Chief of Air Staff congratulated to members who received the Integrity Award and he expects that, this award is a recognition for their special role which will inspire to others.

Principal Staff Officers of Bangladesh Air Force, Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bangabandhu, BAF Base Bashar and Air Headquarters (Unit), Directors of Air Headquarters, senior officers, Airmen and civilian were present on the occasion.
