Staff Reporter, Dhaka : The inauguration ceremony of school building of BAFWWA Golden Eagle Nursery, Paharkanchanpur conducted by Bangladesh Air Force Women’s Welfare Association (BAFWWA) was held at Bangladesh Air Force Base Paharkanchanpur, Tangail on 31 July 2023, Monday. Respected President of BAFWWA Tahmida Hannan inaugurated the school building of BAFWWA Golden Eagle Nursery, Paharkanchanpur as the Chief Guest by releasing balloons and pigeons.

Bangladesh Air Force Women’s Welfare Association (BAFWWA) was established on 10 June 1977 with the motto `Service, Culture and Friendship’. Since its inception, BAFWWA has been running with various types of welfare activities. To fulfill the dream of Sonar Bangla of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and ÔVision 2041’ of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, current BAFWWA President Tahmida Hannan has implemented 24 different projects within very short time with the aim of education, treatment and employment. Mentionable that Bangladesh Air Force Women’s Welfare Association (BAFWWA) has been conducted 06 ÔBAFWWA Golden Eagle Nursery’ schools and 01 Blue Sky School for special children at different bases with the aim of promoting children’s education. In continuation of these welfare activities, BAFWWA Golden Eagle Nursery, Paharkanchanpur has been inaugurated today with a colorful ceremony.

The Vice Presidents of BAFWWA Central Committee, Presidents of all Regional Branches of BAFWWA, Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Paharkanchanpur and students of BAFWWA Golden Eagle Nursery were present on the occasion.
