The bank strongly states that the news is not true and confusing. The bank’s card system is fully secure and safe with advanced firewall technology.

BRAC Bank assures its valued customers that in case of any fraud through a card, the bank conducts an immediate investigation in accordance with international standards and helps the customers. BRAC Bank is always proactive in ensuring the security and convenience of cardholder transactions.

The bank requests to cautiously take the news from unreliable sources using their own judgement. The customers are requested to call 24-hour Call Centre: 16221 or email: enquiry@bracbank.com to get accurate information or to make a complaint. They are also urged to follow the bank’s official Facebook page and website for valid information about banking services. If there is any suspicion, the customer can easily turn off and on the card’s international payment option through Call Centre or ‘Astha’ app.

The bank reassures its customers that debit and credit card transactions are fully safe. Customers can confidently make local and international transactions. At the same time, the bank has requested that customers not share their PIN, CVV, and OTP with anyone under any circumstances.
