Staff Reporter Dhaka : Old Laboratorians Association (OLsA), the alumni association of Government Laboratory High School, a renowned educational institution of the country, has started its annual sporting event, dubbed “Laboratorians Sports Tournament 2022,” on Friday.

The competition was inaugurated on the school’s ground premises on Friday afternoon (October 21) by freedom warrior Mr. Mosaddeq Azam Siddiqui, president of the Old Laboratorians Association. Its General Secretary Rashedul Karim Rubel, Organizing Secretary Md. Sayedur Rahman, Joint Organizing Secretary Syed Mohammad Andalib, Sports Secretary Enam Elahi Mallik, Members, M. Rafayetul Haider and other OLsA members, as well as many former students, were all in attendance.

Three football games were played on the opening day between Lab16 and Lab06, Lab10 and Lab02, and Lab04 and Lab17. In the morning, Lab16 triumphed, and in the afternoon, Lab10 and Lab17 triumphed. In the three-month competition, former alumni students from 21 batches competed in the sports of football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, golf, chess, and carrom.
