Staff Reporter Dhaka : Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) has recently celebrated its 23rd founding anniversary amid elaborate programs – all aimed at commemorating the 23 years of trusted partnerships with the customers, patrons and well-wishers. The theme of this year’s celebration is “23 Years of Trusted Partnership”.
MTB’s Managing Director & CEO, Syed Mahbubur Rahman along with its Additional Managing Director, Chowdhury Akhtar Asif and Deputy Managing Directors, Goutam Prosad Das, Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan and Rais Uddin Ahmed Khan initiated the Week-long celebration of 23rd founding anniversary by cutting a cake at its Corporate Head Office, MTB Centre, 26 Gulshan Avenue, Dhaka 1212 on October 24, 2022.
In alignment with the celebratory mode, MTB Tower and different MTB branches & sub-branches across the country were adorned beautifully and the employees took part in the celebration at their respective points.
With a view to ensuring participation of the valued customers, stakeholders and employees of the bank in this week-long celebration of the 23rd Founding Anniversary, MTB has been arranging various events such as: As part of the celebration, the bank authorities handed over crests amongst the founding MTBians who have been serving the bank for last 23 years in a bid to recognize their efforts and contribution for the growth of this bank. Meanwhile, Founding MTBians handed over books to Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Mangaing Director and CEO of MTB, which will be used for the Library of MTB Training Institute and help bankers gain detailed knowledge about different subjects.
Two ‘Health Check Up’ events in association with United Hospital were also arranged for the MTBians at MTB Centre and MTB Tower. On this occasion, MTB Angona arranged Physical Training Session on “CYBER SECURITY, SOCIAL SECURITY AND SELF PROTECTION” for the MTBians at Samson H. Chowdhury Auditorium, MTB Tower. Few Stalls such as Fair Food & Lifestyle Limited, Fair Electronics Limited and Neofarmers Bangladesh Limited were installed at the Reception Lounge of MTB Tower for MTBians and walking clients of the Bank. These stalls have been offering exciting discounts for the whole anniversary week.
For the customers, MTB offered week-long discount deals with four real estate companies, four automobile companies, and four merchants as a token of appreciation for putting their seamless Trust on this Bank. During this anniversary week MTB Angona launched MTB Angona Payroll Saver & MTB Angona Payroll E-Savers account. The Bank has also launched Complimentary MTB Air Lounge Access for Student File Customer, MTB Visual IVR service.
As a part of celebrating the 23rd Anniversary of the Bank, MTB has arranged Meet the Press with a vision to meet the media persons. Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO, Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, Additional Managing Director & Group Chief Risk Officer, Goutam Prosad Das, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Group ICC, Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan, Deputy Managing Director & CBO and Rais Uddin Ahmed Khan, Deputy Managing Director & CAMLCO of MTB were present during the Press Meet at Samson H. Chowdhury Auditorium, MTB Tower, Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, Dhaka. MTB Management briefed the media person who attended the event.
