BOU and Ho Chi Minh University signs

Staff Reporter, Dhaka : Bangladesh Open University and Ho Chi Minh city Open University (HCMCOU), Vietnam have signed A memorandum of understanding (MOU) for cooperating in teaching and research, exchange of academic programs, study opportunities and teaching. The MOU will also cover the research materials in fields of mutual interest, exploring potential research and program collaborations, faculty exchange, developing training programs and joint seminars between the two universities.

Eminent Geologist and natural hazard researcher, Vice-Chancellor of BOU Professor Dr. Syed Humayun Akhter and President of Ho Chi Minh city Open University Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha signed the agreement 29 May 2023.

Speaking about the prospect of the MOU, Dr. Akhter said, “many Bangladeshi student are now studing in Vietnam. The sign of the MOU will increase the educational and research cooperation between the two universities, which will elevate the friendly bilateral ties a step further.”
