Dhaka, 14^th February : The global phenomenon show “Shark Tank” is finally coming to Bangladesh as Shark Tank Bangladesh. Bangladesh’s top OTT platform, Bongo, signed a deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment to bring the world’s number-one business show to Bangladesh. After a long wait, part of the panel of Bangladeshi Sharks was unveiled last week which included Sami Ahmed, Nazim Farhan Chowdhury, Golam Murshed, Kazi Mahboob Hassan, Fahim Mashroor, and Samanzar Khan.

Shark Tank Bangladesh announces its formidable lineup of female Sharks today. These visionary women, including Samanzar Khan, Managing Director of A K S Khan Holdings Ltd; Faatin Haque, Chairperson of Trade Group of Companies; Anika Chowdhury, Director of Square Pharmaceuticals PLC; Navin Ahmed, owner of Gala Makeover Salon and O Play Restaurant; and Sausan Khan Moyeen, CEO and Founder of Enchanted Events and Prints, and Architectural Designer at La Maison, exemplify strength, resilience, and innovation, embodying the spirit of entrepreneurship in Bangladesh’s dynamic business landscape.

With diverse expertise spanning various industries, they bring a fresh perspective and invaluable insights to the entrepreneurial journey. With their unparalleled vision, expertise, and commitment to success, these remarkable women are poised to redefine the narrative of entrepreneurship in Bangladesh.

Shooting for the much-anticipated show is scheduled to kick off on February 12th, after having screened more than 2,000 companies to select the best businesses. Producers from Sony, Arch Dyson, and Kevin Hyland, who have helped supervise and produce versions of the show around the world, were present in Dhaka to unveil the Sharks and oversee the first few days of the shoot.
