Staff Reporter, Dhaka : The closing and prize distribution ceremony of Inter-Base Football Competition-2023 of Bangladesh Air Force was held at Football ground of Bangladesh Air Force Base Bashar, Dhaka on 08 June 2023, Thursday.

Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque team clinched the title by defeating Bangladesh Air Force Base Birsreshto Matiur Rahman by 2-0 goal in the said competition. Sergeant Mahbubur Rahman of Air Headquarters (Unit) team was adjudged as the best player. Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Admin) Air Vice Marshal Md Zahidur Rahman, BBP, BSP, GUP, nswc, psc witnessed the final match as the Chief Guest and distributed prizes among the winners.

Air Officer Commanding, Senior BAF officers, airmen and other members of the host Base were present on the occasion. Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bashar Air Vice Marshal Md Sharif Uddin Sarker, GUP, BPP, ndc, psc inaugurated the competition on 04 June 2023. Mentionable that, 07 teams of Bangladesh Air Force participated in this 05 day long competition.
