Staff Reporter, Banglapratidin : Referencing open data related to e-Mutation on www.land.gov.bd land service platform, Land Ministry has sent a letter to the Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners – to send a report within 15 working days after expeditious disposing of excessive e-Mutation cases that are pended over 28 days and to monitor regularly of the average disposal time of e-Mutation.

In addition, ways to resolve the cases that are showing ‘false negative’ pending/unsettled due to the earlier system was also mentioned in the letter. It was also requested to state all other reasons for taking an excessive amount of time spent in the settlement of e-Mutation as a whole.

Applicable necessary action will be taken accordingly after receiving the report on the reasons for requiring more than 28 days for disposal of e-Mutation cases at the field level.

Previous e-Mutation system has been updated and made smart by adding new features such as question-based guided e-Mutation form and synchronization of data stored in government servers. Ministry of Land ministry has also taken the initiative to open suitable data/information related to land services in this smart system to ensure good governance in land administration and to make land services more people-oriented.

The issue of excessive e-Mutation cases that are pended over 28 days came up in the open dataset display during the review of the e-Mutation in a meeting last week chaired by Land Secretary Md Mustafizur Rahman PAA. The letter was sent on September 19 in that regard.
