Staff Reporter Dhaka :  The Election of the Executive Committee (EC) of IGW Operators Forum (IOF) for the two-year term 2023-2025 was held on Recently at IOF office (SAM Tower, Plot-4, Road-22, Gulshan-1, Dhaka). Fourteen (14) member Executive Committee of IOF comprises of 7 IGW Operator Switch (IOS) Members and 7 non-IOS Members. A K M Shamsuddoha, (Chairman, Global Voice Telecom Limited) was elected Chairman and Mohammed Abdus Salam, (Chairman, Songbird Telecom Limited) was elected Vice Chairman for the second term for two year period (2023-2025). The Executive Committee Members were all elected uncontested. The EC Members are Md. Zainal Abedin, Bangla Trac Communications Limited, Khalid Islam, Digicon Telecommunication Limited, Brig. Gen. Md. Abdul Hannan, ndu, psc. (Rtd.), Mir Telecom Limited, Syed Moinul Haq, Novotel Limited, Md. Mohammed Sarwar Hossain, Roots Communication Limited, Md. Mahtabul Amin, Unique Infoway Limited, Hafizur Rahman, HRC Technologies Limited, Ashik Ahmed, First Communications Limited, Gazi Md. Salahuddin, Platinum Communications Limited, Humayun Kabir, Venus Telecom Limited, Nadir Shah Qureshi, BG Tel Limited and Nazrul Islam, Bangladesh International Gateway Limited.

The Election of EC, IOF was conducted through an independent Election Board which comprised of Manzur Ahmed, Chief Election Commissioner, Neaz Mohammed and Masud Khan, Commissioners. The newly elected Executive Committee of IOF will assume office from February 2023.
