When a sleek BMW bearing the “MNMRiDEZ Chauffeur” logo glides down the streets of Sydney, it is more than just a luxury car—it carries the story of one man’s resilience, friendship, and dream.

In 2007, a young Bangladeshi named Ashraf Rahman arrived in Australia as an international student. His pockets were nearly empty, but his heart was full of hope. Reality, however, was harsh. After classes, he worked long hours washing dishes and serving sandwiches at Subway. The pay was meager, the hours exhausting. Yet, those struggles became his foundation.

Two years later, his life began to change when he got a job at Coles supermarket. He went on to complete a degree in business management and was later selected for the prestigious Coles Retail Leader Program, an opportunity given to only 30 people from thousands of applicants.

But fate tested him again. Changes in Australia’s skilled visa rules put his future in jeopardy. It was Coles that stood by him, sponsoring his visa—a gesture usually reserved for executives. “That faith gave me the courage to dream again,” Ashraf says.

Beyond his own struggles, Ashraf became a guiding hand for Bangladeshi students in Darwin and Perth. During that time, he formed a brotherly bond with Munna, a fellow student. But tragedy struck when Munna died in a sudden road accident.

“I’ve never overcome the grief of losing Munna,” Ashraf says, his voice heavy. “He taught me that the best achievement in life is helping others.”

That philosophy gave birth to MNMRiDEZ Chauffeur in 2019. Starting with just one BMW, Ashraf envisioned a chauffeur service grounded in professionalism and human values. Within six months, the company grew rapidly.

Today, MNMRiDEZ employs 60 drivers in Melbourne, 35 in Sydney, and 20 in Brisbane, with services spanning Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, Hobart, and the Gold Coast. The secret to this success lies in their world-class service and extensive fleet of vehicles.
