Staff Reporter, Dhaka : Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan, BBP, BUP, nswc, fawc, psc attended the Combined Graduation Parade of Indian Air Force Academy as the Chief Guest on 17 December 2022, Saturday in Hyderabad. He reviewed the smartly turned-out parade and took salute at the impressive march past. Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command and Commandant of Indian Air Force Academy received Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force on his arrival at the Parade Ground.

During the parade, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force awarded ‘Wings’ to the cadets of Flying and Navigation Branch and awarded the ‘Sword of Honour’ to the best cadet in training. He also awarded ‘President’s Plaque’ to the best cadets in Flying, Navigation and Ground Branch.

Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force delivered his valuable speech to newly commissioned officers and everyone. He gratefully recalled the contribution of Indian Air Force in Great Liberation War. He expect that mutual trust and joint exercises between two countries will play a significant role to ensure security in this region. Finally, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force thanked everyone at the colorful graduation ceremony and expressed his gratitude to Chief of Indian Air Force for the invitation.

After that, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force witnessed the colorful Fly past organized by various aircraft and helicopters of Indian Air Force.

Mentionable that, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force left Dhaka for India on 15 December 2022 for official visit on an invitation of Chief of the Air Staff of Indian Air Force Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, PVSM AVSM VM ADC.
