Chance to win Minister products of Tk 4 lakh by receiving remittance in bKash thru Malaysia’s ‘Touch ‘n Go’

Staff Reporter, Dhaka : By receiving highest amounts of remittance directly to a bKash account through Malaysia’s ‘Touch ‘n Go’, an international money transfer operator (MTO), a remittance receiver can win a Minister product coupon worth Tk 150,000 every month.
Additionally, five other recipients will win coupons ranging from Tk 25,000 to Tk 5,000 each week.
To encourage sending remittance through legal banking channels, ‘Touch ‘n Go’, Minister, and bKash have jointly launched this campaign, with Eastern Bank PLC as the banking partner. The campaign started on October 1 and will continue till December 31, 2025.
Using Malaysia’s popular financial app ‘Touch ‘n Go eWallet’, Bangladeshi expatriates can instantly send remittance to their loved ones’ bKash accounts in Bangladesh. They can send Tk 250,000 remittance per transaction to bKash as per Bangladesh Bank’s regulations.
To win weekly coupons, expatriates need to send remittances of Tk 10,000 (excluding the governments 2.5% incentive) or more to their loved ones’ bKash accounts. And to win monthly coupons, they need to send remittances of at least Tk 40,000 (excluding the
governments 2.5% incentive) or more to their loved ones’ bKash accounts during the campaign period. A remittance recipient can win weekly and monthly coupons once each during the campaign period. The coupons can be used through bKash payments.
Expatriates living in Malaysia can instantly and securely send remittances to their relatives’ bKash accounts in Bangladesh using the ‘Touch n Go eWallet’ app. To initiate a transfer,
users must navigate to the Go Remit option within the Touch 'n Go eWallet app and select Bangladesh. After choosing the eWallet and entering the amount to be sent, the user proceeds to the next step, where they provide the recipients name and bKash account number. After providing a few supporting details, they need to confirm to make the transaction.
As an easy, instant, secure and legal transaction method, bKash’s remittance service is rapidly gaining popularity among the senders and receivers. At present, expatriates can directly send remittances to their loved ones’ bKash account through 110 international
MTOs from over 140 countries around the world that get settled at 25 top commercial banks in the country. The received remittance can be used for a wide range of services from home, such as payments, utility bill payments (gas, electricity, water), send money, mobile recharge, pay for education and government services, and donations.
