Staff Reporter, Dhaka : The BRAC Bank Reading Café members gathered for an enlightening discussion on eminent author Faruq Mayeenuddin’s ‘Shera Dosh Golpo’, a collection of his selected short stories. The author also graced the gathering with his presence, adding depth to the conversation.

At a discussion on September 21, 2023, the participants enthusiastically discussed Mayeenuddin’s unique writing style, distinctive diction, intricate story structures, compelling characterization, and profound themes prevalent in his stories. Their analysis of his work provided a multifaceted insight into the depth of his literary contributions.

Author Faruq Mayeenuddin also took the opportunity to share his journey as an author. He reflected on the evolution of his writing over the years, the challenges he faced, and the moments of epiphany that have shaped his narratives.
