BRAC Bank hosts Customer Meet on Remittance in Chowmuhoni

Staff Reporter, Dhaka : BRAC Bank Chowmuhoni Branch in Noakhali hosted a customer engagement programme to raise awareness about remittance inflow through banking channels.

At the event on October 03, 2023, the officials of the bank emphasised the importance of remittance through legal channels to ensure benefits to the economy.

Jamshed Ahmed Chowdhury, Regional Head of Chattogram Region; Monir Hossain, Regional Head of Small Business; Abdul Kader, Regional Credit Head of Small Business; Md. Khondaker Shahansha, Cluster Head of the Feni Cluster, Branch Managers of the area, and many remittance beneficiary customers attended the event.

The officials of BRAC Bank discussed the benefits of remittance inflow through the appropriate channels, the contribution of remitters to the national economy and the services BRAC Bank provides to remittance clients. They also informed that the beneficiaries are entitled to receive a 2.5% government incentive instantly for the remittance through the banking channel.

The customers appreciated the programme and said it was very informative and helpful. They particularly appreciated BRAC Bank’s loan product “Shabolombi” which was specially designed and developed for Probashi Customers. They thanked the BRAC Bank team for arranging such a lively session where they could raise their questions directly and get them answered accordingly.
