Staff Reporter, Dhaka : Ashes, a famous and renowned Bangladeshi band, is going to perform at three concerts in three different European countries. The concerts will take place on December 16, 23, and 26 in Amsterdam (the Netherlands), Frankfurt (Germany) and Paris, France’s capital city.

These ‘Bangladesh Victory Day Celebration Concerts’ will be co-organized by the BDFestivals Netherlands, BD Soul Harvest Germany and Franco Bangla France.

Already there has been huge interest and excitement among the local Bangladeshi community regarding these 3 concerts.

Ashes’ band vocalist, Zunayed Evan said about this concert, “This is our first concert in Europe, and we are really looking forward to the concert, hope the concerts will be memorable for us.”

Other 2 members of the band, Tawfiq Ahmed Bijoy and Sultan Rafsan Khan said, “Since the concerts are related to the history of our country and the Victory Day of Liberation War, it goes without saying that these concerts carry a very special significance for us, and we feel really happy to be a part of this concert.”

Imran of BDFestivals, one of the main organizers of these concerts said “We are trying to create a platform in Europe for the Bangladeshi bands, starting with Tahsan and Ashes, where they will have the opportunity to perform in the concert venues which have the top European standards. And also, usually these bands will be performing in multi countries, more like a Europe tour. And by that you can understand how big the scope it is for Bangladeshi band as well as the Bangladeshi community here living in Europe”.

Shoumik, the organizer from Germany expressed his delight and stated that, “I believe this initiative will allow our people to come, celebrate and create some memories they will cherish forever”. Last but not the least, Rabbani, one of the main organizers of Paris thoughtfully added that, “Band music is our national pride, and it also represents our childhood. We are very happy to be able to spread it here in Europe by creating a common platform. ”

After the concert, there is another exciting episode called ‘Meet and Greet’ for the fans of the band. Where they will have the opportunity to meet and take selfies with their favorite bands. This episode is organized by Muse Communications of Bangladesh. A separate ticket should be purchased for this.

Apart from ‘Ashes’, another popular band of Bangladesh ‘Tahsan and Friends’ will be present at the concert.
