Dhaka, 03 March:– Annual Winter Exercise of Bangladesh Air Force ‘WINTEX-2024’ commenced at all BAF Bases and Units on 03 March 2024. Through this exercise, combat capabilities and strength of Bangladesh Air Force will be assessed and important recommendations will be given that will play a significant role in upholding a credible air defence system in future. BAF fighter aircraft, transport aircraft, helicopters, radar squadrons, Surface to Air Missile (SAM) unit and Unmanned Aerial System Unit (UASU) including all BAF personnel are taking part in this exercise. As a part of the exercise, the pilots of Bangladesh Air Foce will master a variety of air warfare tactics. Mentionable that, the effectiveness of air defence capability of Bangladesh will enhance through this exercise. Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, BGB, Bangladesh Police, Civil Defence and BNCC (Air Wing) are also participating in this exercise.
