Staff Reporter Dhaka : The orientation program for the newly enrolled MBA students have been observed at the Dhaka Study Center of Bangladesh Open University. The Treasurer and the Dean of the School of Business, Bangladesh Open University, Prof. Mostafa Azad Kamal was the Chief Guest in the event. Prof. Dr. Mayenul Islam and Prof. Dr. Serazul Islam were the special guests.

Asst. Director Md. Abdul Hye Babu division of Public Relation informed detail. The programs Chaired by the Dhaka Study Center Coordinator Ms. Asma Akter Shelly, the Treasurer of BOU said that Business School is going transform its courses from education focus to empowerment focus. He emphasized on the Actions directed to Vision 2041 instead of iterating commitments. He mentioned that MBA graduates must not confine themselves on the textbooks, rather they should connect each other, form collaboration and drive for creating something new to reach Bangabandhu’s dream for Sonar Bangla. He said that BOU Business School is working to help the executives all over the country enhance their skills at their own pace. In that regard, Business School developed an interactive Learning Management System and took strong initiative to convert all its courses into competency-based courses with high emphasis on research and 21st century skills.
