HONOR launches the Guinness World Record holder X9d in Bangladesh

Staff Reporter, Dhaka : Cricketer Saif Hassan announced as brand ambassador Global technology brand HONOR Bangladesh launched its latest smartphone, HONOR X9d, a new benchmark in durability and battery performance for mid-range smartphones.
The event also announced Saif Hassan, a prominent figure in Bangladesh cricket, as HONOR’s new brand ambassador in Bangladesh, bringing credibility to the brand and reinforcing
HONOR’s connection with a young, dynamic audience.
Senior HONOR Bangladesh officials, including Lang Guo, the Country Manager; Abdullah Al Mamun, the Business Head; and Muzahidul Islam, the Deputy Country Manager, attended the
event. Dealer partners and top tech and lifestyle influencers were also present.
HONOR X9d stands out for its exceptional build quality. It holds a Guinness World Record for the ‘Highest Smartphone Drop’, surviving a 6.133-meter fall without damage, showcasing its
extreme durability. Designed for users seeking reliability, style, and innovation, X9d reflects HONOR’s continued focus on engineering excellence and user-centric design.
Speaking at the event, Lang Guo, Country Manager, HONOR Bangladesh, said, “Over the years, HONOR has experienced strong growth both globally and in Bangladesh. Last year, HONOR Bangladesh recorded an impressive 200% year-on-year growth. Now, with the launch of HONOR X9d, the strongest and most powerful smartphone in the X series, we believe it to be a strong and confident start to HONOR’s journey this year.”
The 12 GB RAM, 256 GB storage model of the X9d is priced at BDT 46,999. Pre-booking opens from January 4 to January 11, 2026, giving early customers the chance to be among the first to try the newest member of HONOR’s X series.
